250ml Original Moonshine

The Old Hokonui Moonshine is born out of a remarkable chapter in New Zealand history — the Gore District endured over 50 years of prohibition, during which illicit moonshine was secretly distilled in the Hokonui Hills. Today, that spirit lives on legally and exclusively. This grain spirit is distilled from a barley wash by distiller Steve Nally, with no ageing to keep it true to the original recipe. Available only at the Hokonui Moonshine Museum and Distillery in Gore, and through this online store. 40% alcohol, available in 100ml, 250ml and 500ml.
